If you work at Copenhagen Airport — ground handling, security, an airline desk, cargo, or one of the offices around Kastrup — you know the problem: your shift ends, you're hungry, and the last thing you want to do is stand in your own kitchen chopping onions. We hear this from a lot of our regulars. Inder'n is a five-minute drive from CPH and the office parks around Kastrup, and a hot, fresh North Indian dinner is one of the few things that actually feels like a reward at the end of a long shift.

Why airport and office shifts are a good fit for takeaway

Shift work doesn't leave much room for cooking. If you clock off at 16:30 or 18:00, you're either driving home tired or catching a bus back into Tårnby or Amager — and by the time you're through the door, motivation to cook a proper meal is gone. That's the gap we try to fill. We also know shift schedules don't always line up neatly with a kitchen's opening hours, so we're upfront about ours: Inder'n is open Tuesday to Sunday, 16:00–20:30 (closed Mondays). That window covers most afternoon-into-evening shifts at CPH, plus the tail end of a normal office day in Kastrup or Tårnby Kommune.

What to order after a long shift

The dishes our regulars from the airport and nearby offices order most are the ones that reheat well if you're eating a bit later than planned, and that don't need much fuss once you're home. A few honest recommendations from our own kitchen:

• Butter Chicken or Chicken Tikka Masala with Basmati Ris — a full, satisfying dinner that holds up if you're eating it 20 minutes later than you planned.
• Daal Makhani — slow-simmered black lentils, filling and mild, a good choice if you've been on your feet all day and want something gentle.
• Garlic Naan on the side — we bake it fresh per order, so it's the one thing you genuinely want to eat within the first few minutes of getting home.

Ordering ahead so it's ready when you are

The easiest way to use us after a shift is to order 15–20 minutes before you actually leave work, so the food is ready right as you arrive, or timed for delivery to land when you walk in the door. We take orders directly through indern.dk, and we're also on Wolt for delivery across Kastrup, Tårnby and parts of Amager. I vores køkken, we balance the spice level for Danish palates by default — if you want it hotter, or milder, just say so when you order; we adjust dishes daily depending on what regulars ask for.

A note on prices

Dishes at Inder'n start from 109 kr, with rice, naan and drinks priced separately on the menu. A single dinner — one main, rice, and a naan — typically comes to somewhere between 150 and 200 kr, which is roughly what you'd spend on ingredients for one person at the supermarket, minus the effort of actually cooking it.
